Participating products must be suitable for use as commercial packaging covering all types of consumer goods, including but not limited to dairy products, beverages and cleaning products.

The assessment process will focus on the level of recyclability of the packaging, which will be determined by whether the packaging belongs to one of the material categories - class A, B or C. The recyclable nature of the submitted packaging is an important part of the application criteria together with the innovative steps in the sector.

In this context, all technological developments that facilitate the recycling processes of plastics and increase the use of recycled plastic materials for high-quality applications are subject to evaluation.

The assessment in this category will highlight the impact of technological progress on the efficiency, effectiveness, innovation, performance and quality of products and processes, while analysing the added value it provides in the field of recyclability.

This category focuses on innovative machines dedicated to improving the functionality of the plastics recycling industry. If your machine offers significant innovations at any stage of the recycling process, such as sorting, grinding, crushing, washing, filtering, extrusion, it is the appropriate category for your application.

During the assessment, the improvements that the machine brings to the recycling process and its efficiency, innovation, performance and quality throughout the process will be taken into assessment. Cost-effectiveness and contribution to recycling quality are also taken into assessment.

Feel free to nominate individuals whose contributions set an exemplary standard for society for this special recognition.
