Hayrettin Can, born in 1962 in the Ataköy village of Çaykara district in Trabzon, is married and has 4 children.

Having completed his education in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University, Can entered the business world in 1982. After working at Makıtez A.Ş. and Cevahirler Construction, he, along with 5 friends, founded Disan Hydraulic Machinery Industry and Trade Ltd. Co. in 1993. The company, which continues with 5 partners, operates in the areas of Municipal Waste, PET Recycling, Nylon Recycling, and Plastic and Paper Recycling.
