İzzet Tanrıkulu was born in 1967 in Nevşehir. After completing his education in his hometown, he ventured into business at a young age in Istanbul. After gaining various experiences in Istanbul-Topkapı, he founded the Tanrıkulu Recycling company in Istanbul in 1989. He continued his investments with plastic recycling facilities established in Kocaeli-İzmit and Sakarya from 2006 onwards. In 2014, a PET sheet processing facility was established in Kocaeli-Çayırova, and in 2020, investments were made in laminated PET sheet and rPET granule production in Sakarya-Akyazı. İzzet Tanrıkulu serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Tanrıkulu Companies Group, which operates eight different facilities, employing 700 people.
